I’ve lost a shirt. I wore it 9 days ago. I remember because I wore it to church and had three different people ask me if I lost weight. It’s a good shirt. It’s a nice dark green button down that fits me perfectly and looks great with my low-rise, button fly jeans. My husband likes the way it looks on me. It compliments my red hair and green eyes perfectly. It’s like it was made just for me. And it’s gone!
I’ve looked every where. I searched all the dressers. I’ve gone through the dirty clothes waiting to be washed. I’ve gone through the clean clothes waiting to be folded. I’ve gone through every closet in the house. I’ve looked under beds, under the basement steps, and in the kitchen (why it would be in there I wouldn’t know but I looked anyway). I’ve looked EVERYWHERE and I cannot find it. Anywhere. I just don’t understand. It didn’t get up and walk out on it’s own, so it has to be in this house somewhere, right? It should be in the dirty clothes in the bathroom since I know I don’t remember washing it last week. I don’t remember drying it or hanging it up either. It’s just gone. And I want it back!
So, that begs the question, have you ever lost something that you really needed/wanted/loved in a completely ridiculous place? I’m hoping maybe some blog comments will spur my imagination to look somewhere I wouldn’t think of and hopefully lead me to my shirt before 1pm (the last possible moment I can get it washed and dried before we have to get out the door). Someone HELP ME!!!

Yes and it drives me crazy! The one place that I have finally looked was back on a hanger. If I wear a shirt for a bit and it isn’t dirty (and I haven’t sweated…oops..perspired!!) I’ll hang it back up…so check your closets maybe? Also, my 14 yo dd is FAMOUS..did you hear me…I mean I can’t believe you haven’t heard of her yet!!!….she is famous for keeping laundry baskets of clean clothes in her room and shoving her *dirty* ones on top….ARRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHH!!! I taught her good though….she had to wear some of those dirty clothes over to get my point across…they weren’t really *dirty*..but to her they were.
Good luck finding that shirt!
