My Mundane Musings

Growing up I longed for the fast paced life of big city life and corporate America. Now I’m a stay at home mom of 4 in a small rural community! And I wouldn’t have it any other way! (At least for now).

I was informed that I haven’t been posting enough pictures or updating enough about Seth lately.  So here’s the latest…

Seth is now 7 months old and still sweet as can be.  He’s got 2 teeth and a third on the way, which has made for some long nights lately.  He’s commando crawling all over the house and thinks it’s fun to chase the kids and even more fun to make his way to the kitchen.  When he sees one of us coming to stop him, it just makes him move all the faster.  He’s saying “Momma” and “Dada” quite regularly and we’ve even heard a “pawpaw” out of him.  He’s got smiles for everyone and can melt even the hardest of hearts.  He loves to play with Little People and will sit for quite a while and play with them.  He’s eating table food now – we gave him some little bits of spaghetti the other day.  No messy pictures though as we were feeding him and not letting him do it himself.  He doesn’t seem to enjoy his baby food anymore because he’d rather be eating the food we are – and he’s quite vocal about it!  His favorite thing to do is crawl around and find all of the little things that he can put in his mouth to bring someone running to fish it out.  I must vacuum at least once a day – usually two or three times!  It’s really hard to remember what our family was like without him.  He has definitely made our family feel complete.

Yea!!  Thanks for the Seth update!  It is neat to see how our two boys are doing!  Isaiah’s also commando crawling all over the place, has two teeth and a smile to melts your heart!  No solid foods or words yet here though, just doesn’t seem to take any interest in the food yet, though we’ve tried a few times, and no siblings to keep a constant vocabulary forming.  🙂  Though, I thought I heard a “really” and a “ok” after I said them, though I’ve been thinking it is still a bit early for words, who knows!! 🙂   What a total cutie Seth is!   Thanks for the great update!!!!!!
