My Mundane Musings

Growing up I longed for the fast paced life of big city life and corporate America. Now I’m a stay at home mom of 4 in a small rural community! And I wouldn’t have it any other way! (At least for now).

Well, we finally got in today for Seth’s 15 month checkup.  Apparently he remembered the last visit because as soon as we got into the exam room he started to cry.  And when I started to take off his clothes, he started to scream!  As I set him on the scale, he had great big alligator tears rolling down his face.  And that wasn’t even the hardest part!  Amazingly, he did really well with Dr. Kim and didn’t fuss too much when he got THREE immunizations.  He’s still the “little guy” out of my bunch.  While Kait’s weight was always on the low end, the other three were all in the 90th percentile if they were on the charts at all.  Seth is my peanut only in the 25th percentile.  He now weighs a whopping 23 pounds and is 31 inches tall.

But don’t worry about him too much.  After a doctors appt that requires getting poked, I have a rule – you get a present.  Period.  If you have to have a needle jammed in you, you deserve a prize.  So off to Target we went!

Here he is playing with his new toy, an Amazing Animals Monkey Friends Tote
