My Mundane Musings

Growing up I longed for the fast paced life of big city life and corporate America. Now I’m a stay at home mom of 4 in a small rural community! And I wouldn’t have it any other way! (At least for now).

Today, my Sether-monkey turns TWO! Can you believe it?  In the past year we’ve watched as he grown up from a baby to a toddler.  He’s learned to walk, he’s adding new words to his vocabularly daily, and he’s turned into quite the little comic-in-training.  He shadows his big brother Noah constantly and they are best buds.  He’s learning to follow directions and how to tune me out when he doesn’t want to do something (just like the big kids).  He’s loves a good snuggle and lots of hugs. He’s into everything these days and everything is a new adventure.  It’s juat amazing to me as I look back over the last year and see how much he’s changed!  This has been the hardest birthday of all to do a photo montage since there are just so many amazing photos of Seth.

It’s only 8:20am and the birthday boy is still in bed after an exciting day yesterday.  We’re busy today and tonight, so we took him out for his birthday cheese fries last night.  He bought a new dump truck and a bagful of sand toys with some birthday money and will spend the day today with a family friend while Chip and I are gone this afternoon.  It’ll be a rather low-key birthday, but after the monkeys at the zoo on Monday, I think we’ve had all the excitement we can stand this week.  Happy birthday, Seth!

I enjoy seeing the pictures you post of the kids. They grow so fast and I don’t get to see them enough.
