My Mundane Musings

Growing up I longed for the fast paced life of big city life and corporate America. Now I’m a stay at home mom of 4 in a small rural community! And I wouldn’t have it any other way! (At least for now).

Elijah had *his* first practice game of the season tonight.  He missed on Tuesday because we were out of town.  He was up to bat 4 times and got on base every time – walked twice, connected (to the outfield) the other two.  His coach gives out something called the HAL ball.  Kind of like a game ball that rotates from one kid to the next and goes to the “best” player of the game.  HAL stands for Hustle, Agility and Leadership.  Tonight, MY son took home the HAL ball!  That’s right, while the moon isn’t full, all that glow is coming from me – I am BEAMING!!!  WAY TO GO, SON!!!

Another beaming momma here.  My daughter pitched an almost perfect softball game last night.  It feels great huh? šŸ™‚
