My Mundane Musings

Growing up I longed for the fast paced life of big city life and corporate America. Now I’m a stay at home mom of 4 in a small rural community! And I wouldn’t have it any other way! (At least for now).

Our poor Kait is severely outnumbered by boys – on both sides.  She is the only granddaughter.  She has three brothers and three boy cousins.  No wonder she’s so spoiled!

My mom was here last week and we all oohed and ahhed over the baby – Wesley.  He’s smaller at one month than my kids were when they were born!  And still quite floppy.  I think we’ll all enjoy him a bit more when we go to Wisconsin in October and he’s able to control his neck a bit more.  Anyhoo, here are some pictures from their trip…

Seth wasn’t quite sure what to think.  Doesn’t he look like he’s trying to figure out something rotten he can teach that little one?  He’s the king of troublemaking these days…

Kait loved holding the baby.  Reminded me of how good she was at putting Seth to sleep when he was a tiny…

Wyatt didn’t really want much to do with holding his brother when they were here.  He’s a great help at home, but I think he was happy for the break while my sister had plenty of other helpers.  He and Elijah played a lot of computer games…

Noah held the baby just long enough to take his picture.  Moments later, Wesley started to fuss and that was the end of him holding the baby…

Elijah is like most guys – he was still a bit freaked out by how tiny he was.  He held him even less than Noah did!

And here’s the lot of them: Noah (5), Elijah (10), Wesley (1month), Kaitlyn (7.5), Seth (2) and Wyatt (9)…
