My Mundane Musings

Growing up I longed for the fast paced life of big city life and corporate America. Now I’m a stay at home mom of 4 in a small rural community! And I wouldn’t have it any other way! (At least for now).

Freaking out… February 7, 2008

Filed under: fun — Rebekah Sanders @ 12:30 pm

Sunday we were with friends. As we were leaving, he told me to keep Thursday open because he was going to try and get tickets to the Illinois vs. Indiana basketball game in Bloomington, IN Champaign (I thought it was in IN, it’s in IL which makes it even better!). Since we had just talked about us watching his kids so he could take his wife out for a date, I figured he meant so he could take his wife.

So imagine my SHOCK when he called this morning to see if we wanted to bring our kids over there tonight. I thought he meant so we could all watch the game togetheror something. We’ve done that before sonce they have the big tv.

Nope, wrong again! They are going to watch our kids so *we* can go to the game. I am completely gobsmacked! We are definitely blessed to call these people friends!

So, look over there ——> for pictures from the game tonight. Maybe I’ll eve blog from the game!

Actually the game is in Champaign. At least since I know that we will get there on time 😉

I am jealous you got to go to the game. I lived in Champaign for almost three years and I never got to go to one. We did sit in Assembly Hall and watch the title game when the Illini went to the finals. I hope you had a blast.
