I am EXHAUSTED! It’s been a long, long, long week and it’s still not done. Monday thru Friday, Elijah was at football camp each morning from 8am-10am. Which meant he had to get up at 6:45am. And since he shares a room with his two younger brothers, they were also up at 6:45am. Chip’s a saint, because he did let me sleep until he absolutely had to leave around 7:30.
We’ve also had 5 ball games so far this week. In four days. And we didn’t play on Wednesday!
Tomorrow morning, Chip and I are up early to go over to Champaign to pick up stuff for the church food pantry. Chip’s mom – where Chip gets his sainthood – is coming over to watch our four kids, plus the two that I babysit for. Then tomorrow night Bethany Celebration kicks off.
Saturday morning is the parade. A wonderful, dear woman from our church is the grand marshall this year. So thrilled to see her in all her glory riding in the parade. My kids can’t wait for the candy! Then we have Kait’s last ball game of the season at 4:45. They were supposed to play a second game at 8:15, but we are cancelling that came (you can’t really forfeit a game that you don’t keep score in) because it conflicts with every team members evening plans – the Bethany Celebration fireworks.
Sunday morning is church, then we’re having people over for lunch. Chip’s aunt and uncle are driving in from Fargo, ND tomorrow night. After lunch, we’re going to a birthday party for our dear Norma (the grand marshall mentioned above) who will turn 80 this year. Then we have our 5th Sunday Celebration service with another church in town. We’re great, great friends with their pastor, so he and his family will be coming over after the service for dinner. That’s right, not one, but TWO sets of company. On a Sunday no less. I must be absolutely insane!
And then Monday we’re going to St. Louis to the zoo!
I’ll be half of y’all are tired just thinking about all of that! So, I seriously need your help! Keep those questions coming! I’m going to be too tired to figure out what to blog about and I’ve got 12 (thanks, CC) days left in this 100 days of blogging.
What do you want to know about me?
