My Mundane Musings

Growing up I longed for the fast paced life of big city life and corporate America. Now I’m a stay at home mom of 4 in a small rural community! And I wouldn’t have it any other way! (At least for now).

throw them at Mom!  That seems to be Seth’s new theory on life.  After lunch, he asked nicely so Chip gave him an apple.  Now his new trick is taking a couple bites and then running up when I’m not looking and throwing it at me.  It promptly bounces off and he grabs it and makes a run for it, giggling like the little one he is.  BOYS!

And girls aren’t any easier!  Kait has had a bad case of the “life’s not fair”s today.  She wants to go play at the park and at the creek with her older brother and his friends.  But she’s just not old enough (I still struggle with letting Elijah go at times and he’s 10).  She’s only 7 and just can’t understand why she can’t do the things that the older kids do.  I’ve tried explaining to her that life’s not fair, but she just replies that it’s not fair that lifes’ not fair and well, I’m getting nowhere with that conversation today!
